Incheon Airport Corporation Establishes Crisis Management Cooperation System at Incheon Airport

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 13th that it has signed a "Incheon Airport Crisis Management Cooperation System Establishment Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)" with its four subsidiaries.

The MOU signing ceremony held on the 10th in the corporation's conference room was attended by Kim Kyung-wook, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, Hwang Yeol-heon, President of Incheon Airport Facilities Management, Kim Pil-yeon, President of Incheon Airport Operation Service, Baek Jeong-seon, President of Incheon International Airport Security, Kim Jong-seo, President of Incheon Airport Energy, and other officials.

Based on this agreement, the corporation plans to establish a joint response system through mutual cooperation and information sharing with its subsidiaries regarding crisis situations at Incheon Airport, conduct joint drills simulating emergency situations, and create a systematic crisis response ecosystem based on organic cooperation. Additionally, they will mutually cooperate to actively utilize the "Incheon Airport Crisis Response Situation Management Collaboration Platform" established by the corporation in May.

The Situation Management Collaboration Platform is a crisis response communication platform that shares crisis situations occurring at Incheon Airport in real time with 136 sites. Utilizing this platform enables rapid decision-making through swift information sharing about crisis situations, securing the golden time for accident response.

Kim Kyung-wook, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, stated, “As the post-COVID era is expected to see a full recovery in air travel demand, the corporation will strengthen its cooperative relationship with subsidiaries to provide safe and convenient airport services to passengers using Incheon Airport through swift responses in case of crises.”
