[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] On the 12th, President Yoon, after watching the film Broker, which won the Best Actor award at the Cannes International Film Festival, praised it as "a film that delivers a good message that the preciousness of life and the act of protecting life is something all members of our society must do together."

President Yoon Seok-yeol and his wife Kim Keon-hee watched the movie Broker at 2:20 p.m. at Megabox Seongsu in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

President Yoon appeared at the cinema wearing a navy jacket, gray pants, and a white shirt, while his wife wore a checkered short-sleeve blouse and a black skirt. They purchased their tickets through general reservation before entering the theater.

After finishing the movie, about 30 citizens who had watched the film together looked toward President Yoon and his wife as they exited the theater.

When asked by reporters about his thoughts on the film, President Yoon said, "It's a bit difficult to immediately express my thoughts after watching the movie," but added, "Not because it won an award at Cannes, but I think it is a film that delivers a good message that the preciousness of life and the act of protecting life is something all members of our society must do together."

When asked if there was a particular reason he pays special attention to interacting with citizens through meals, walks, and various activities, President Yoon replied, "There is no special reason," and added, "I also want to always mingle with citizens, not as the president, but as an ordinary citizen."
