Damyang-gun Recruiting Learning Communities for 'Happiness Learning Center' Participation

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 10th that it is recruiting for the 'Happy Learning Center' to create a happy community based on lifelong learning and to foster hobbies, cultural skills, and job creation.

The 'Happy Learning Center' is a project that supports budgets for programs that benefit residents' lives, such as programs that utilize the characteristics of the village, and job-creation certification classes, by forming a learning community of 15 or more residents in villages and apartments.

The recruitment period is from the 13th to the 20th, with about 8 centers to be selected, and support of up to 7 million KRW per center, with differential support depending on the nature of the project.

If selected, support will be provided for instructor fees and learning material costs necessary for learning, as well as activity expenses for learning managers to ensure smooth project management.

A county official said, "We hope that through the Happy Learning Center, local resident groups will form learning communities and grow together based on that learning," and added, "We are also conducting various projects such as visiting delivery lectures, lifelong learning clubs, and Damyang humanities literacy classes, so we ask for your great interest."
