Namwon-si to Recruit 'Urban Regeneration University Students' Until the 14th

[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk Province, announced on the 9th that it is recruiting students for the 4th Cultural Storage Urban Regeneration University to train the 4th generation of resident planners aimed at supporting startups in the form of social economy organizations centered on residents.

The recruitment fields are ▲ Urban Regeneration UCC Creation ▲ Natural Bath Bomb Making ▲ Creating a Mido-tang Memory Storybook.

This education is part of the urban regeneration New Deal certified project selected in 2020, the ‘(Old) Mido-tang Cultural Storage Renewal’ project, and the recruitment of students will be conducted from the 16th to August 25th.

The content of this 4th resident planner training course includes acquiring video production skills through a basic course on UCC resident video content production, making natural bath bombs, mists, and natural ointments inspired by bathhouses, and creating a (Old) Mido-tang memory storybook using drawing as a medium, combining differentiated theoretical education and practical training.

A city official said, “Through the 4th Namwon City Urban Regeneration University education, we will strive to serve as a foundation for successfully realizing resident-participatory urban regeneration, focusing on promoting the renewed Mido-tang and cultivating capable local economic professionals.”

Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the city hall website by the 14th and either visiting the Namwon City Urban Regeneration Support Center in person or sending it via email to the Urban Regeneration Support Center.

This course will select participants on a first-come, first-served basis considering the number of students per subject.
