Ulju-gun Installs Rapid Chargers for Electric Mobility Devices in All Towns and Townships to Improve Mobility for Disabled and Elderly

Ulju-gun has installed rapid chargers for electric mobility aids throughout all towns and townships.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Dong-guk] Ulsan Ulju-gun has completed the installation of rapid chargers for electric mobility aids in all towns and townships to facilitate mobility for the disabled and the elderly.

On the 7th, the county added seven more locations this year, including Eonyang and Seosaeng Administrative Welfare Centers, following six sites installed in 2019 such as KTX Ulsan Station and Beomseo-eup Administrative Welfare Center.

With this additional installation, users of electric mobility aids can now use the rapid charging service free of charge anywhere in the 12 towns and townships of Ulju-gun.

The newly installed chargers are compatible with all electric wheelchairs and electric scooters, and the rapid charging significantly reduces waiting time, minimizing inconvenience for users.

A county official said, "As the distribution of electric mobility aids has expanded, the demand for rapid charging has surged," adding, "We hope that the additional installation of these chargers will enhance mobility convenience for the disabled and the elderly."
