The 2022 new model from Danish luxury golf shoe brand Ecco is the BIOM C4 (photo). Known for its craftsmanship, the brand manages every process from leather production to finished products in its own factory, undergoing as many as 225 steps. The C4 features a unique performance by combining premium leather developed in-house with Gore-Tex material that wraps the foot 360 degrees for an ergonomic fit, BIOM technology, and Gore-Tex Surround technology that boasts 100% waterproofing.

Starting with the BIOM Natural Motion Technology, created by scanning the foot movements of 2,500 professional golfers, it is impressive. The fit is designed ergonomically so that the foot moves comfortably inside the golf shoe and the muscles can be used most efficiently. The outsole Tri-Fi Grip is optimized for stability and powerful rotation essential for the golf swing. It adheres firmly to the ground, supporting the lower body solidly throughout the process from backswing to finish.

The Gore-Tex Surround, along with the midsole air vents, functions to expel moisture and heat from inside the shoe to the outside, ensuring comfort. Interestingly, the cushioning of the hybrid insole has been reduced by less than 5%. It absorbs shocks transmitted to the soles and distributes body weight across the entire sole, reducing fatigue during long rounds. With its sporty design, it transforms into a hybrid sports shoe for everyday use.
