Gyeongnam Office of Education Invites You to Experience Careers in Future Automobiles and Bio-Life Sciences! Students experiencing the future automobile and bio-life fields prepared by the Gyeongnam Office of Education.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Gyeongnam Office of Education is operating an experiential space in the future automobile and biomedical fields at the Gyeongnam Gimhae City Career and College Admission Expo, which runs until the 4th.

In the experiential space, visitors can experience Mercedes-Benz's latest future electric car, biomedical device experiences from the Gimhae Biomedical Promotion Institute, and Lego experiences for making future cars for elementary and middle school students.

Various events such as career and job counseling for vocational high schools, a future talent photo zone, and specialized high school promotions have also been prepared.

An education office official stated that the Gyeongnam Office of Education was selected this year as a vocational education innovation district in the future automobile and biomedical fields by the Ministry of Education.

The vocational education innovation district project is promoted through collaboration among the education office, education support office, local governments, companies, related institutions, universities, and vocational high schools to nurture future talents.

The education office plans to focus on nurturing talents in the relevant fields by signing business agreements with Gimhae City, Mercedes-Benz, Korea GM, a hydrogen company consortium, the Gimhae Biomedical Promotion Institute, and others.

They are operating in the fields of aviation, future automobiles and biomedical, and smart manufacturing, and plan to operate shipbuilding, elevators, and nano fields as independent projects.

A middle school student who visited the experiential space said, "I vaguely knew about the future automobile and biomedical fields, but through various experiences and detailed counseling, I learned more specifically," adding, "I want to enter a specialized high school and become an expert in the future electric car field."

Hwang Heung-gwi, head of the Career Education Department, said, "With the help of Gimhae City and related local institutions and companies, the Gimhae Vocational Education Innovation District is progressing smoothly," and added, "We will do our best to actively discover various talent growth paths so that it can grow into the nation's best future automobile and biomedical fields."
