[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Paradise City announced on the 3rd that it will hold the ‘Born & Bread X Dario Cecchini’ collaborative gala dinner, where guests can experience world-class premium dining in line with the movement toward daily life recovery.
This event will take place at Paradise City’s contemporary Korean dining restaurant, ‘Saerasae.’ Paradise City is collaborating with ‘Born & Bread,’ a premium Korean beef omakase specialty restaurant, and ‘Dario Cecchini,’ the butcher and chef of the 250-year-old Italian butcher shop ‘Antica Macelleria Cecchini,’ to present a differentiated Korean beef course meal. Notably, Dario Cecchini will visit Korea in person to reinterpret the finest Korean beef carefully selected by Born & Bread with his own culinary philosophy.
At this gala dinner, where Dario Cecchini’s signature meat dishes reinterpret Korean beef, guests will be served galbitang (short rib soup) made with rich broth from Korean beef bones and morel mushrooms that have a chewy texture like meat, fresh avocado yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare), and a plate of terrine, ragu, and tartare to stimulate the palate. Following this, a variety of meat dishes will be presented, including warm broth simmered with beef brisket, salad, seopsanjeok grilled wrapped in water-moistened hanji paper, seolyamyeokjeok grilled marinated chuck flap tail, and rosemary skewer meatballs.
Next, the feast of meat continues with porterhouse steak made from the finest female cattle, galbi asado (barbecue), a plate of Korean beef special cuts, Korean beef hot dogs and Korean beef tacos prepared in the Florentine style, offering the essence of meat gastronomy. The entire course meal will be neatly finished with olive ice cream and olive cake.
This gala dinner is scheduled to be held on the 10th from 6 p.m., targeting 60 Paradise Membership members and customers who applied in advance.
A representative from Paradise City said, “We planned this gala dinner in collaboration with Born & Bread and Dario Cecchini to offer differentiated gourmet support to customers exhausted by the pandemic that lasted over two years,” adding, “Since world-renowned meat masters are joining forces, guests will be able to taste the essence of beef dishes that are hard to experience anywhere else.”
