Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 0.08% Leads to 'License Cancellation'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Actor Kim Saeron (21), who was caught driving under the influence, was found to have been at a 'license cancellation level' according to the blood test results from the National Forensic Service.
On the 1st, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that they received notification from the National Forensic Service that Kim's blood alcohol concentration exceeded 0.08%, which is the level for license cancellation.
A police official stated, "We plan to schedule additional investigations and send the case to the prosecution."
Earlier, on the morning of the 18th, Kim was caught by the police for driving under the influence in the Cheongdam-dong area of Seoul and crashing into facilities such as a transformer. At the scene, Kim requested a blood test instead of a breathalyzer test.
Meanwhile, due to this accident, the transformer was damaged, causing a power outage for about three hours affecting 57 nearby stores and other locations.
