[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do has launched capacity-building training to enhance the expertise of workers in the Senior Customized Care Service.
According to the county on the 31st, on the 26th, capacity-building training was conducted for 130 workers belonging to the Social Welfare Council, the executing agency of Hampyeong-gun's Senior Customized Care Service, and the Hampyeong Regional Self-Support Center at Hampyeong Expo Park.
This training, conducted under the supervision of the Jeonnam Social Service Institute, included lectures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation to improve response capabilities in emergency situations to prevent safety accidents among the elderly.
Shin Munsik, representative of the Hampyeong-gun Social Welfare Council, said, "This training was a great help to the workers who directly meet and care for the elderly in the field," and added, "We will continue to do our best to provide high-quality welfare services."
Meanwhile, the Senior Customized Care Service is being promoted for 1,885 low-income elderly people in need of care, providing various customized services for the elderly such as life education and daily living support.
