Yun Byeong-tae, Naju Mayor Candidate, Declares Unified Pragmatic Administration to Overcome 'Factionalism and Camp Politics'

"Candidate Kang In-gyu should immediately withdraw and prepare for the general election in 2 years if he wants to run against the local National Assembly member"

Yun Byeong-tae, Naju Mayor Candidate, Declares Unified Pragmatic Administration to Overcome 'Factionalism and Camp Politics' Yoon Byung-tae, Democratic Party of Korea candidate for Mayor of Naju.

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Yoon Byung-tae, the Democratic Party candidate for Mayor of Naju, announced on the 30th through SNS, "I will break factional politics and partisan politics and pursue integration and pragmatic administration."

The current Naju mayoral election has been dominated by public opinion that Kang In-gyu, an independent candidate for Naju mayor, has conducted a negative campaign throughout the election period, framing the election as a battle between local National Assembly member Shin Jeong-hoon and candidate Kang In-gyu.

In response, candidate Yoon Byung-tae has consistently emphasized that this election is both an evaluation of former mayor and independent candidate Kang In-gyu and a mayoral election competing against himself.

Candidate Yoon criticized Kang In-gyu, saying, "It can only be seen as a low-level planned election chosen because Kang In-gyu is unable to compete with me and instead confuses citizens by holding an election against a local National Assembly member rather than Yoon Byung-tae, which is corruption, incompetence, and irresponsible non-transparent politics."

He also stated, "If Kang In-gyu wants to compete with National Assembly member Shin Jeong-hoon, it is proper for him to withdraw from the mayoral election and prepare for the general election in two years," adding, "I am fully aware that Kang In-gyu's groundless planned election is confusing the citizens," implying that he understands the essence of the election strategy linking the local National Assembly member and himself.

Candidate Yoon declared, "If the citizens choose me, I will firmly act from the citizens' perspective," and "Specifically, I will break factional politics and partisan politics, pursue integration and citizen-centered pragmatic administration, and discover talent based on ability to represent only the interests of the citizens."
