[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida stated on the 29th that "the government will respond in an all-government manner to realize the earliest possible return" regarding Japanese abductees.

According to major media outlets, Prime Minister Kishida made these remarks while attending the "National Rally" demanding the early return of abductees held in Tokyo on the same day.

Takuya Yokota, representative of the Association of Families of Abductees, emphasized, "We will never give up on the return of all victims and will continue to raise our voices." Representative Yokota is the younger brother of Megumi Yokota (13 years old at the time of her disappearance in 1977), a symbolic figure of the abductees.
