Hanmi Semiconductor Establishes A/S Call Center to Strengthen Customer Response System

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Kwak Dong-shin, Vice Chairman and CEO of Hanmi Semiconductor, announced on the 29th that "to strengthen close services for various domestic customers, an A/S call center has been newly established at the headquarters' Plant 1 located in the Juan National Industrial Complex, Seo-gu, Incheon Metropolitan City."


The A/S call center was established to provide prompt services in response to the increasing domestic foundry volume of global semiconductor companies and the diverse requests from customers. Customers include global OSAT companies such as Amkor Korea, JCET Korea, ASE Korea; domestic companies like Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, Hana Micron, Signetics, LB Semicon; and semiconductor substrate manufacturers such as Samsung Electro-Mechanics, LG Innotek, Daeduck Electronics, and Korea Circuit.


Vice Chairman Kwak Dong-shin explained, "Through technical expert counselors, we will take swift action within 24 hours based on service reception," and added, "We plan to provide a systematic premium service by linking the ‘Micro Saw’ specialized engineers, established last November, with dedicated A/S team service vehicles."


He further emphasized, "We plan to enhance customer satisfaction through our own evaluation and analysis system."


Hanmi Semiconductor received the IR52 Jang Young-sil Award in April for the ‘Micro Saw,’ a semiconductor package cutting (SAW) equipment domestically developed successfully in June last year. Recently, it was the only Korean semiconductor company selected by TechInsights, a semiconductor research institute, as one of the world's top 10 BEST semiconductor equipment companies in the 2022 customer satisfaction survey category.
