[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Nayeon] On the 28th (local time), British Prime Minister Boris Johnson told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a phone call that he would cooperate with the Group of Seven (G7) member countries to resume Ukraine's grain exports.

The British Prime Minister's Office announced that the two leaders discussed Russian President Vladimir Putin's malicious blockade of the Odesa port during the call.

The Prime Minister's Office explained that Prime Minister Johnson said international partners are intensively working to find ways to resume Ukraine's grain exports to avoid a global food crisis, and that he would push for urgent progress in cooperation with G7 partners.

Additionally, the two leaders agreed that Russia must lift the blockade of the Odesa port and allow safe navigation.

Johnson emphasized that the continued cooperation of the international community is crucial for Ukraine's victory, and that countries have an obligation to support Ukraine immediately and in the long term to prevent further attacks.
