[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] The Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters (Chief Park Geun-oh) announced on the 27th that it conducted on-site practical training for 122 newly appointed volunteer firefighters in the first half of this year from the 25th to the 26th.
This training covered cardiopulmonary resuscitation, first aid, pump vehicle operation and water spraying, fire suppression training, evacuation methods and action guidelines in case of fire, and education on laws related to volunteer firefighters.
Additionally, the training focused on acquiring basic knowledge necessary for field activities and conducting practical exercises to develop response capabilities in disaster scenes such as fire, rescue, and emergency medical services.
The newly trained volunteer firefighters who completed this course will serve as safety guardians throughout the province by providing various safety education and regional safety services.
