Illegal Filming in a Bathroom in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A teenage boy who secretly filmed a woman with a mobile phone in a restroom was caught by the police.

On the 27th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that they are investigating a teenage boy, Mr. A, on charges of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (filming using a camera, etc.).

Mr. A is suspected of illegally filming a woman in the restroom of a building located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 6:30 p.m. the previous day. It was reported that a student discovered the illegal filming and reported it to the police.

The police said, "It is true that we have received a related report and are conducting an investigation," but added, "It is difficult to disclose specific details."
