[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Hyundai Engineering & Construction, selected as the winner in the complex residential sector this year, is delivering the full value of a luxury living space by supplying ‘Hillstate Hwanho Park’ in Yangdeok-dong, Buk-gu, Pohang City this month.

Hillstate Hwanho Park consists of 20 buildings with a maximum of 38 floors above ground and a total of 2,994 households. As it is supplied as a large complex, the full Hillstate brand premium will be applied. The complex layout is mainly south-facing, with 4-bay and slab-type designs to enhance lighting and ventilation, and features such as dressing rooms and pantries have been introduced to expand storage and space utilization.

To ensure comfortable indoor air quality, Hyundai Engineering & Construction also offers a sterilizing clean ventilation system as a paid option. This system, patented by Hyundai Engineering & Construction, not only removes indoor fine dust with a HEPA filter but also reduces airborne viruses and bacteria using photo plasma technology. Within the complex, differentiated residential services are provided with facilities such as a fitness center, indoor golf range, sky lounge, guest house, and dry sauna.

In particular, this complex is being developed as part of the Pohang Hwanho Park private park development special project, creating a large-scale park nearby. The park will include exercise facilities, walking trails, and a botanical garden. Various favorable developments are continuing near Hwanho Park. The Pohang Marine Cable Car project, which began construction in December 2020, aims to complete construction in the second half of 2023. The second building of the Pohang City Museum of Art is also under construction within the park, targeting completion in 2025. Additionally, the East Sea unfolds right in front of Hwanho Park. A walking trail connecting Hwanho Park to the sea will be created within the complex, allowing residents to enjoy a more pleasant natural environment.
