Presenting Vision to Employees, Franchisees, and Partners to Foster Empathy and Achieve Innovation
Wellbeing Food, the operator of Jadam Chicken, announced on the 27th that Chairman Namseok Na will receive the 'People-Centered Entrepreneurship Award' in recognition of his ethical and exemplary franchise business achievements.
Organized by the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) and Compania School, and hosted by the Korean Indonesian Management Association, the 'People-Centered Entrepreneurship Award' is given to business leaders who practice people-centered management that not only achieves external corporate growth but also presents a vision to company members, gains their empathy, and drives corporate innovation.
Chairman Namseok Na started the Jadam Chicken brand business in 2011 and has pioneered the well-being premium chicken sector in the chicken industry by launching animal welfare chicken since 2017. In particular, based on the belief that "franchising is a business of sharing," he has sought a management model where the three pillars?headquarters, franchise stores, and partner companies?stand as equal entities in solidarity and cooperation. He believes that a healthy franchise business can grow only when all three parties share the outcomes of corporate activities, and he practices this in various ways.
In corporate management, all employees are regarded as key participants in company operations, with their opinions regularly collected and reflected in important policy decisions. For example, when launching a new advertising campaign or developing a new menu, all employees are encouraged to participate and provide feedback. This horizontal corporate management approach has been highly praised for fostering a sense of ownership among employees and turning them into driving forces for company growth, which led to this award.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 2nd at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul.
