10 Students from Gwansan High School Selected to Compete in the Finals on the 21st of Next Month

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Seunghyun] The Jeonnam Jangheung County Council of the National Unification Advisory Council announced on the 26th that it held the '2022 Youth Peaceful Unification Golden Bell Regional Preliminary Contest.'


The contest, held on the 25th at the auditorium of GwanSan High School in Jangheung, was attended by about 60 people including advisory council members, GwanSan High School students, and teachers.


The offline contest was conducted targeting GwanSan High School in the region, selecting 10 finalists for the main contest. One top student and four excellent students from the regional preliminary contest were awarded.


Before the ceremony, National Unification Advisory Council members and GwanSan High School instructors encouraged the attending students by giving them handkerchiefs wishing for peaceful unification, symbolizing "Let's all cheer up together."


Wi Sumi, Chairperson of the National Unification Advisory Council Jangheung County Council, encouraged, "I hope that through today's Peaceful Unification Golden Bell preliminary contest, all GwanSan High School students will have a meaningful time recognizing how important the South and North and peaceful unification are."


Meanwhile, the students selected in this contest will participate in the Jeonnam regional finals to be held on the 21st of next month.


The National Unification Advisory Council was established in the early 1980s as a constitutional institution to unite the people's will and capabilities for unification and to concretely practice peaceful unification, the nation's aspiration, as a nationwide unification organization.
