Application for the '2022 Card Fee Support Program' Open from June 7 to July 1
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonju City announced on the 26th that it will support card fees to alleviate the economic burden on small business owners.
Jeonju City will accept applications for the '2022 Card Fee Support Project' from June 7 to July 1, targeting small business owners with annual sales of 300 million KRW or less from the previous year, providing support of 0.8% of card sales up to a maximum of 500,000 KRW per business.
Eligible applicants are small business owners operating in Jeonju with annual sales of 300 million KRW or less. However, entertainment businesses, gambling businesses, and industries restricted by the Credit Guarantee Foundation Act's guarantee and re-guarantee limitations are excluded from support.
Applicants can apply online through Jeonju City's website within the application period by attaching copies of their business registration certificate and bankbook.
However, during the initial four days of application from June 7 to 10, applications will be accepted on an odd-even basis according to the last digit of the business registration number.
Jeonju City expects to reduce inconvenience for small business owners by verifying and processing sales amounts through the National Tax Service without requiring supporting documents, which was a cumbersome process requiring submission of annual sales and card sales data when applying for card fee support since last year.
For more details about the small business card fee support project, please refer to the announcement posted in the Notice/Announcement section and News section on Jeonju City's website.
