17 Heads of Hydrogen Industry Associations from 7 Countries and Foreign Company Officials
Introduction to Ulsan Industrial Sites Including Hyundai Motor's Nexo Factory

The Ulsan Free Economic Zone Authority will hold the 1st VIP Invitation Event on the 26th to promote the Ulsan Free Economic Zone, centered on the hydrogen industry.
A total of 17 people visited Ulsan, including hydrogen industry association heads from seven countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Denmark, as well as representatives from embassies in Korea from six countries including Germany, France, and Argentina, and foreign energy companies.
This event is organized as a side event of the "Global Hydrogen Industry Association Alliance (GHIAA) Forum," held from the 25th to the 26th.
It commemorates the launch of a coalition of hydrogen industry associations from 18 countries worldwide to revitalize the global hydrogen industry.
After holding the official launch ceremony in Seoul on the 25th, participants will visit the World Gas Conference exhibition in Daegu on the 26th, then move to Ulsan to tour industrial sites.
The Ulsan Free Economic Zone Authority promoted Ulsan’s "Large, Medium, and Small Business Win-Win Investment Online Platform" at the Seoul forum to discover promising domestic and international companies in the hydrogen sector, and on the 26th, it will host a VIP invitation event in Ulsan for key guests from around the world.
On the day, attendees will visit Hyundai Motor Company, the world's largest hydrogen electric vehicle manufacturer, touring the Nexo production plant, the pier, and hydrogen refueling stations. They also plan to visit the Ulsan Bridge Observatory, which offers a panoramic view of Ulsan’s industrial sites.
Jo Young-shin, head of the Ulsan Free Economic Zone Authority, said, “We deeply appreciate H2KOREA, the dedicated domestic hydrogen industry promotion agency, and KOTRA for their efforts in preparing this event. We will continue to cooperate with related organizations to widely promote Ulsan’s excellent investment environment and do our best to actively attract foreign investment.”
