Cafe24 has launched the 'Line Shopping Taiwan Package' to make it even easier to sell products in the Taiwanese online shopping market.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 announced on the 26th that it has launched the 'Line Shopping Taiwan Package' to make it easier to sell products in the Taiwanese online shopping market.
The main focus of this service enhancement is to broadly support services such as effective product display, marketing optimized for the local market, shipping, and accounting, starting from entry into Taiwan's Line Shopping. Based on the integration of Cafe24 MarketPlus service and Taiwan Line Shopping, product and order information of in-house brands can be easily linked, and Cafe24's professional staff provide 1:1 customized consulting services tailored to each company's situation to help online businesses smoothly expand overseas.
In particular, it is notable that local services frequently used by consumers, such as the online payment service EC Pay and Taiwan FamilyMart delivery, have been integrated. Accordingly, online businesses can easily respond to Taiwan's on-site cash on delivery (COD) environment, where consumers pick up parcels at designated convenience stores. FamilyMart is a convenience store with 4,000 stores nationwide in Taiwan and more than 15 million online application (app) members, and EC Pay provides services to over 200,000 companies including the four major convenience stores in Taiwan.
Lee Jae-seok, CEO of Cafe24, said, "Taiwan is an important market where the popularity of Hallyu and online shopping demand are both rapidly increasing," adding, "We will continue to diversify services to enable Korean companies to easily enter not only Taiwan but also the United States, Japan, Southeast Asia, and other global regions."
