According to Cheil Worldwide on the 26th, the new Bacchus commercial features a cheerful portrayal of people embracing a new daily life in the With-Corona era. The advertisement conveys the message that Bacchus supports overcoming the changed reality due to COVID-19 and starting a new daily routine again.


The commercial begins with the protagonist struggling to return to school after a long period of remote classes due to COVID-19. While viewers naturally assume the protagonist is a university student, a twist is revealed when the mother says, “You have to go, you’re the teacher,” surprising the audience that the protagonist is actually a teacher. The protagonist, an elementary school teacher, finds the return to school challenging but enjoys spending the day with the students. The commercial ends with the protagonist relieving fatigue by drinking Bacchus after a fulfilling day.


A representative from Cheil Worldwide said, “We wittily depicted moments of fatigue that people can relate to at the beginning and end of the commercial, and we carefully considered situations that elementary school teachers can empathize with in these times.”


This commercial attracted consumer attention with its twist and cheerful content, surpassing 3 million cumulative views on YouTube within two weeks of its release. Comments included, “A fellow teacher recommended this to me, and I really relate,” and “Just watching the commercial relieves my fatigue, I’m leaving with a smile.”


Bacchus has consistently received positive reviews by presenting advertisements that support our neighbors and reflect the times. This commercial was produced to cheer on people starting their new daily lives again, following last year’s message of daily life recovery showcased through bus advertisements.
