CJ Logistics Construction Division Wins Contract for New Dongwha Pharm Building in Sunhwa-dong, Seoul

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] CJ Logistics Construction Division announced on the 25th that it had won the contract for the new construction of the Dongwha Pharm headquarters building located in Sunhwa-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul on the 20th.

The new headquarters is scheduled to be completed in December 2024 after approximately 31 months of construction following the demolition of the current building. The total floor area of the construction is 15,818㎡, and the construction cost is about 43 billion KRW.

Lee Hyuksu, Executive Director and architect at Gansam Architects who was in charge of designing the Dongwha Pharm new headquarters, stated, “The design considered Dongwha Pharm’s history, symbolism, and its future prospects.”

Meanwhile, CJ Logistics Construction Division is carrying out urban construction projects such as offices and R&D centers, and is also focusing on logistics centers and remodeling sectors. Currently, three buildings are under construction in Goduk Biz Valley, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, and construction is underway for four new headquarters buildings for IT companies and one pharmaceutical research institute in Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town, Gyeonggi Province.
