[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] On the 24th, the campaign headquarters of Yoon Byeongtae, the Democratic Party candidate for Mayor of Naju, announced that they have filed a complaint with the Naju City Election Commission, accusing independent candidate Kang Inkyu of "false statement disclosure" regarding Yoon Byeongtae's assets during a broadcast debate.

The campaign headquarters of candidate Yoon Byeongtae pointed out, "In the complaint, it was stated that during the June 1 local election debate for Naju mayor candidates held on the 23rd on KBC broadcast, the asset change charts of candidate Yoon Byeongtae and his spouse, which were presented as reference materials by independent candidate Kang Inkyu, contained incorrect years, distorting the information to mislead the public and citizens."

Furthermore, the campaign headquarters stated, "Candidate Yoon Byeongtae has reported asset changes annually as a subject of high-ranking public official asset disclosure," and claimed, "Although the official gazette's base year for the chart Kang Inkyu presented during the broadcast was 2018, it was written as 2019, intentionally making it appear as if a large amount of assets had increased within a short period."
