The Presidential Office announced on the 24th that while the Blue House residence courtyard has been open since the 10th, from the 26th onward, the entire interior including the living room, bedroom, and dressing room will be fully accessible for viewing.
At the same time, the interior of the Blue House main building will also be opened. This includes the first floor's ▲ Mugunghwa Room (First Lady's office and reception room) ▲ Inwang Room (for tea events), the second floor's ▲ President's office ▲ VIP reception room, and ▲ the East annex Chungmu Room.
As of the previous day, the cumulative number of applications for Blue House tours reached 5.43 million.
A total of 397,723 people visited during the 13 days since the opening. In particular, the Presidential Office reported that many visitors have been coming to the Yeongbingwan and Chunchoogwan, which became accessible for interior viewing starting the previous day.
In this regard, First Lady Kim Geon-hee, wife of President Yoon Suk-yeol, toured the Blue House main building after the KBS 1TV 'Open Concert' held at the Blue House on the evening of the 22nd.
