Operating 7 Courses Including Computerized Accounting and Photoshop
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Gimcheon City in Gyeongbuk announced on the 24th that it will recruit trainees for June on a first-come, first-served basis starting from the 25th, following the lifting of social distancing measures. The 2022 Citizen Informatization Education, which had been temporarily postponed, will commence on June 7.
Citizen Informatization Education is a program continuously promoted by Gimcheon City to bridge the digital divide among citizens and develop informatization skills to assist in employment activities.
In particular, starting this year, the number of entrusted education institutions has been expanded from three to four to provide easier access to informatization education and improve educational convenience.
The courses starting in June will include a total of seven programs: Computerized Accounting, Practical Computer Utilization Skills, Software Coding, ITQ Excel, ITQ Hangul, and GTQ Photoshop. Each individual can apply for up to two courses per year.
Applicants must be citizens aged 18 or older residing in the city and can participate free of charge. Citizens interested in informatization education can check the courses on the Gimcheon City website and apply accordingly.
A Gimcheon City official stated, “We hope that the Citizen Informatization Education will enhance citizens' informatization capabilities and provide education that is helpful in daily life.”
