[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kyungbok University Startup Incubation Center (BI) has rolled up its sleeves to foster outstanding young entrepreneurs.
Kyungbok University Startup Incubation Center recently announced on the 24th that it signed a business agreement for 'Youth Tutoring 100' to nurture excellent young entrepreneurs with 28 startup support organizations in the province at the Gyeonggi Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration.
The agreement involved 28 startup support organizations in the Gyeonggi area, including Kyungbok University Startup Incubation Center, Gyeonggi Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, and the Small and Medium Business Corporation Youth Startup Academy.
'Youth Tutoring 100' is a project aimed at helping young entrepreneurs establish stable startups and improving startup growth rates through connecting startup infrastructure and intensive management within the Gyeonggi region.
The Youth Startup Academy and preliminary startup package operating organizations select and recommend outstanding talents among enrolled and graduated students, while the Startup Incubation Center, One-person Creative Enterprise Support Center, and Middle-aged Technology Startup Support Center provide differentiated incubation programs to young talents. Additionally, the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Small and Medium Business Corporation, and Credit Guarantee Fund plan to support funding and guarantees to alleviate financial difficulties experienced in the early stages of startups.
Kim Ihyun, head of Kyungbok University Startup Incubation Center, emphasized, "Since its establishment in 2015, Kyungbok University Startup Incubation Center has strategically supported early-stage startups in the northern Gyeonggi area to possess outstanding technology and competitiveness as a startup incubation hub." He added, "We will strive to ensure the smooth operation of the Youth Tutoring 100 project to nurture young entrepreneurs in cooperation with startup support organizations in the Gyeonggi region."
