[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun announced on the 24th that it will hold a cultural lecture titled "Understanding Our History Correctly" by inviting Professor Shin Byung-joo, the nation's top history expert, at 4 p.m. on the 31st at Yeonggwang Arts Center.
Professor Shin Byung-joo, an expert in Joseon Dynasty history, has appeared on KBS History Mystery, TV Chosun Annals of the Joseon Dynasty, History Special, History Journal That Day, and JTBC Different Class, making history knowledge easy to understand and leading the popularization of Korean history.
The lecture will be conducted both in-person and online, and residents who cannot attend the in-person lecture can watch it live on Yeonggwang-gun's official YouTube channel.
Applications for the visiting cultural lecture can be made through the county website, and the online lecture can be watched live without a separate application process.
A county official said, "We hope many residents will participate in this lecture, which was prepared to provide a meaningful time to realize the deep significance of history and gain lessons by inviting the nation's top history expert."
