NHN Bigfoot Conducts Large-Scale Open Recruitment for New and Experienced Employees

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] NHN Bigfoot announced on the 24th that it will conduct an open recruitment called ‘BIG Recruiting 2022.’

In February, NHN Bigfoot absorbed and merged NHN’s game subsidiaries NHN PixelCube and NHN RPG, declaring its identity as a P&E (Play and Earn) game specialist developer. Based on its capabilities and know-how in various game genres, it is preparing a diverse P&E game lineup this year, including match-three puzzles, hold'em poker, social casino, RPG, SNG, and sports betting prediction games.

This recruitment covers various departments including development roles such as game platform, blockchain, and game development, as well as game planning, business, and art. Applications will be accepted through the NHN Bigfoot recruitment website from the 25th until June 14th. The selection process includes ‘Pre-Test/Pre-assignment (only for new hires) - first interview - second interview’ to select the final successful candidates.

NHN Bigfoot’s strategy is to secure talent across various roles to successfully establish itself in the global P&E market and to enhance the games currently under development. In line with the employment market trend where the adoption of remote work is a benchmark of advanced corporate culture and a criterion for job selection, NHN Bigfoot plans to permanently implement a two-day-per-week remote work system. Additionally, all experienced hires joining NHN Bigfoot will receive a welcome bonus of 2 million KRW.

Furthermore, successful candidates will receive onboarding training for about two months to help them adapt successfully to the company and their work. They will undergo one week of introductory training to adapt to NHN Bigfoot’s corporate culture, followed by in-depth training necessary for their respective roles. For successful candidates in development roles, mentoring programs will be provided to offer opportunities to grow into excellent game developers.

Kim Sang-ho, CEO of NHN Bigfoot, stated, “NHN Bigfoot is in a favorable position in the P&E game market, where token economy is important, based on the know-how accumulated from operating Korea’s leading game portal ‘Hangame’ for a long time. We expect many applicants who will grow alongside NHN Bigfoot, which has unique strengths in various game genre capabilities and currency management know-how, to make a significant footprint in the global P&E game market.”
