[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Shinsegae Food's No Brand Burger announced on the 24th that it has launched a new menu item, the 'Gold Curry Burger,' featuring an exotic curry sauce.
The Gold Curry Burger is characterized by the unique aroma and spicy flavor of curry blending with a thick meat patty, offering a deep and exotic taste. In particular, the premium Gold Curry sauce, developed in-house, is based on turmeric, familiar to Korean palates, combined with garam masala, an authentic Indian spicy seasoning, along with cumin and cayenne pepper commonly enjoyed in Southeast Asia, maximizing a unique yet Korean umami balance. Additionally, the 'Double Gold Curry Burger' adds one extra meat patty and slice of cheese to the Gold Curry Burger, providing a richer and more abundant curry sauce flavor and aroma.
The Gold Curry Burger has been available since the 2nd at No Brand Burger stores (excluding some locations). The prices for the Gold Curry Burger and Double Gold Curry Burger are 2,900 KRW and 4,600 KRW for single items, and 4,900 KRW and 6,500 KRW for sets, respectively.
To celebrate the launch of the new menu, No Brand Burger is offering a coupon through the No Brand Burger application until the 30th of next month, allowing customers to upgrade to a Double Gold Curry Burger set for free when dining in or ordering takeout at stores.
A Shinsegae Food representative said, “The Gold Curry Burger was creatively combined using familiar ingredients and sauces to present a unique style exclusive to No Brand Burger,” adding, “We plan to continuously introduce new menu items that deliver both fun and flavor to consumers, reflecting No Brand Burger’s distinctive brand personality of ‘Why Not?’”
