[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jeong Seunghyun] Recently, a woman identified as A, who accused Park Hongryul, a former candidate for Mokpo Mayor in Jeonnam, of sexual harassment, was found unconscious and transported to a hospital.
According to local political sources on the 23rd, around 7 a.m., A was found collapsed at her home, and someone called 119 to have her taken to the hospital.
Currently, A is reported to be in an unconscious state.
Recently, A was known to be experiencing extreme fear and stress, claiming that people around her were stalking her.
A’s mother explained the situation, saying, “I don’t know what happened, but she barely ate and only took medicine while struggling. In all my years, I have never seen my daughter like this,” and added, “She usually only cared about her mother and family, but she seemed to have changed strangely.”
She also claimed, “My daughter kept saying things like ‘I don’t have a single person I can trust,’ ‘The world is scary,’ and ‘People are scary.’”
Moreover, in a recent phone call with the media, A said, “I feel like people who were never around my house are now visible, and even breathing feels terrifying,” and “I have absolutely no motive or reason to falsely accuse or give unfavorable testimony against the suspect.”
Meanwhile, when A was found, a short message saying “Mom, I’m sorry” was reportedly written on a letter nearby.
