[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] A man who attempted self-harm during an internet broadcast called the police himself and was rescued.

According to the Mapo Police Station in Seoul on the 23rd, they rescued a teenage male, Mr. A, who runs a YouTube channel, at a multi-family house in Mapo-gu, Seoul, around 10:20 PM the previous day.

According to the police, Mr. A reported that he had self-harmed and was bleeding heavily, stating that 119 (emergency services) needed to come along. The police who arrived at the scene rescued Mr. A and provided emergency treatment together with the fire department. Mr. A was transported to a nearby hospital and is reported to be out of danger.
