Yang Geum-hee, spokesperson for the People Power Party's Central Election Countermeasures Committee for local elections, said in a commentary on the same day, "Today, along with the party leader and others at Bongha Village, the People Power Party, the last Prime Minister under President Roh and the first Prime Minister under President Yoon Suk-yeol, and the new government will honor and carry out his will," adding, "We hope a new history of great integration will be written."
Spokesperson Yang emphasized, "The path to honoring the will of our people is to flow together as a strong current of national integration through politics of integration and coexistence, parliamentary democracy, rather than politics of division, conflict, and one-sided parliamentary dominance."
Heo Eun-ah, spokesperson for the Central Election Countermeasures Committee, also said in a commentary, "The indomitable values of 'national integration' and 'mature democracy' that former President Roh pursued during his lifetime resonate deeply in our hearts today," adding, "We will cherish the courage of former President Roh, who prioritized national integration above all opposition."
Spokesperson Heo pointed out, "Currently, the National Assembly cannot find bipartisan cooperation amid sharp conflicts," and said, "Guaranteeing the right to speak even to minorities and adhering to the principles set by law?this was the 'mature democracy' that former President Roh spoke of."
She continued, "The People Power Party will surely achieve bipartisan cooperation to realize the mature democracy that former President Roh wished for."
