Song Young-gil Seoul Mayor Candidate and Chae Hyun-il Yeongdeungpo District Mayor Candidate Joint Campaign Rally at Yeongdeungpo Traditional Market


[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Song Young-gil, the Democratic Party candidate for Seoul mayor, held a joint campaign rally with Chae Hyun-il, candidate for Yeongdeungpo District Mayor, at Yeongdeungpo Traditional Market.


On the 20th at 5 p.m., candidates Song Young-gil and Chae Hyun-il met with citizens and supporters at the entrance of Yeongdeungpo Traditional Market to appeal for their support.


First, Song Young-gil, the Seoul mayoral candidate, stated during the rally, “Yeongdeungpo is one of the first areas developed in Seoul, especially on the south side of the Han River, and it faces issues such as haphazard development including elevated roads. We will expedite the demolition of the Yeongdeungpo Station overpass and reorganize the tangled urban environment to reduce congestion.”


Chae Hyun-il, candidate for Yeongdeungpo District Mayor, appealed, “Chae Hyun-il, a person who has accomplished, together with Song Young-gil, a person who has experience, will lead a more open Yeongdeungpo to a better leap forward. In this local election, please choose a verified candidate. Please be sure to vote for Song Young-gil in Seoul and Chae Hyun-il in Yeongdeungpo.”


After the joint campaign rally, which attracted a large crowd, candidates Song Young-gil and Chae Hyun-il completed their schedule by greeting merchants at Yeongdeungpo Traditional Market and walking through the underground shopping center to greet people.
