[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] On the 21st, at the National Museum of Korea, the official dinner between President Yoon Seok-yeol and U.S. President Joe Biden will feature Paldo Sanchae Bibimbap and marinated grilled U.S. beef ribs on the table.


On the 21st, the spokesperson's office explained about the 'Paldo Sanchae Bibimbap' served at the Korea-U.S. leaders' official dinner table: "Sanchae Bibimbap is a menu that represents not only color and taste but also the harmony of seasons, regions, nature, and humans."


Before the meal, purple sweet potato, pumpkin, and black sesame flavored pancakes and red bean drinks will be served. The table will also include five local delicacies cold dishes (black sesame tofu slices, unique wheat wraps, cucumber slices, Hoengseong deodeok salad, and Geumsan ginseng vegetable rolls), Gangwon Yangyang cham songi mushroom porridge and cold dish, Haenam cabbage Ssungchae dumplings, sous vide (low-temperature vacuum cooking) marinated U.S. beef ribs with soy sauce seasoning, and vegetables.


For dessert, rice cake made with Icheon rice and white chocolate, U.S. nuts and orange jelly, domestic raspberries and pears will be served, and plum tea will be prepared as a post-meal drink. The dinner wine will be the red wine 'Basso' produced by 'Dana Estate,' a Korean-owned winery in Napa Valley, California, USA.


The welcome dinner will be attended by representatives from both ruling and opposition parties, heads of Korea's top 10 conglomerates, and businesspeople. First Lady Jill Biden is not accompanying this trip, so First Lady Kim Geon-hee will not attend the dinner.
