President Yoon to Hold First Regular Cabinet Meeting in Sejong on the 26th

[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] President Yoon Seok-yeol will hold his first Cabinet meeting on the 26th.

On the 20th, the Presidential Office spokesperson announced that President Yoon will hold the first regular Cabinet meeting of the new administration at the Government Complex Sejong on the 26th. Previously, President Yoon held a Cabinet meeting on the 12th at the Yongsan Presidential Office to discuss the supplementary budget, but that meeting was held on a temporary basis.

During his candidacy in March, President Yoon pledged to hold the first Cabinet meeting of the new government in Sejong.

Currently, President Yoon has completed the appointment of ministers for 16 out of the 18 government ministries. The remaining ministries are the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Education. If President Yoon appoints Jeong Ho-young as the Minister of Health and Welfare, Jeong will also attend the new government's first Cabinet meeting.
