[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Dong-Eui University and the UX Research Institute signed a technology cooperation agreement with VIVE Company on the 18th at the conference room on the 2nd floor of the Dong-Eui University main building to promote development in the metaverse and digital twin platform fields and to foster professional manpower.


Attending the signing ceremony were Lee Im-geon, head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Dong-Eui University, Lee Jae-in, director of the UX Research Institute, Park So-ah, head of the DTS division at VIVE Company, and Ahn Chang-won, director of the Smart City Research Institute.


According to the agreement, Dong-Eui University and VIVE Company will conduct academic consulting, research support, and joint research to revitalize the industry, including education related to UX and big data based on metaverse and digital twin platforms, and fostering professional manpower.


Lee Jae-in, director of the UX Research Institute at Dong-Eui University, said, “Taking this agreement as an opportunity, we will expand collaboration areas such as information exchange on industry trends, education, and pioneering and developing new services.”


VIVE Company is the largest domestic big data and artificial intelligence specialized company that develops customized solutions and programs through various information and data analysis.


It started in 2000 as an in-house incubating project of Daum Communications and was listed on KOSDAQ in 2020.
