According to Yonhap News on the 19th, multiple attendees reported that the NIS stated at a closed meeting of the National Assembly Intelligence Committee on the 19th, "Based on various circumstances, it is presumed that Chairman Kim has not been vaccinated against COVID-19."
However, the NIS is also known to have reported that, following the Rodong Sinmun report on the 17th stating that "vaccination is effective in preventing COVID-19," North Korea has begun to recognize the necessity of COVID-19 vaccination.
