At the official election campaign kickoff ceremony, candidate Kim Sang-gwon for Gyeongnam Superintendent of Education pledges victory with his supporters.

"This election is a judgment on the 8 years of JeonGyoJo superintendents, corruption, and incompetence," he said, "The earnest desire of parents and residents to eradicate injustice and restore broken schools has brought us here."
"We are embarking toward Gyeongnam education based on fairness and common sense, nurturing dreams and hope, taking responsibility for safety and health, and warmly embracing and carefully caring with love," he declared his determination.
Candidate Kim raised his voice, saying, "Let's restore the broken Gyeongnam education. By listening to the voices of voters, let's inspire hope in Gyeongnam education and open the beginning of 100 years of future education together."

"Four years ago, I also started the official election campaign by guiding students on their way to school. Protecting the safety and health of students is the most important duty of a superintendent of education and an expression of my heart to run to the children whenever I see them," he said.
"We will complete a student-tailored future education system, create a safe and peaceful Mom-friendly school, and surely realize Gyeongnam-style free education," he said, adding, "Please join us in making Gyeongnam education the center of future education in the Republic of Korea."
