[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Ssangyong Construction announced on the 19th that it will publicly recruit about 30 new employees in the first half of this year.
The recruitment fields are five sectors: architecture, civil engineering, electrical, plant, and safety. Eligibility requirements include graduates from a four-year university or higher, or those graduating in August 2022, who are able to work on domestic and overseas sites. Candidates with internship experience at construction-related companies, excellent language skills, job-related certifications, veterans, and persons with disabilities will be given preference according to relevant laws.
Applications will be accepted through the website until the 30th of this month. Subsequently, video interviews will be conducted next month, and successful candidates will be announced by early July. Final successful candidates are expected to join in July.
Ssangyong Construction has recently hired a total of about 550 new, experienced, and intern employees over the past eight consecutive years. A Ssangyong Construction official said, "This year, we are publicly recruiting new employees to strengthen domestic construction orders such as remodeling, which is the industry leader, continuous orders of large civil engineering projects, and enhanced site safety management."
