HUG Opens 'Dream Playground' at Busan Aloysio Base 1968

[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) announced on the 19th that it has opened the 'Dreaming Playground' in Seo-gu, Busan.

The Dreaming Playground is part of HUG's 'Urban Playground Project.' This project aims to create complex cultural spaces by utilizing idle spaces within the city. The 'Dreaming Playground' was established through a business agreement among three organizations: HUG, Busan Architecture Festival, and Aloysius Giji 1968. It is designed to encourage users' free activities and stimulate creativity.

Aloysius Giji 1968 is a place where Father Aloysius established a school in 1968 for the education of children from the Boys' House and children of single mothers. It is currently used as an educational experience facility.

Kwon Hyung-taek, President of HUG, said, "I hope the Dreaming Playground can function as an urban sanctuary that anyone in the city can enjoy during this opportunity," and added, "We will continue to strive to take the lead in the development of the local community as a public institution."
