'Multicultural Family Reading Mentoring' is a reading culture program where multicultural and Korean families read books together under the guidance of professional instructors and engage in various post-reading activities.
This first half program consists of four sessions held every Saturday until June. The classes are designed to help participants learn about the cultures of various countries and communication through books.
Various post-reading activities such as crafts and hands-on experiences to stimulate children's interest will also be conducted.
A library official said, "This program, conducted in the first and second halves of the year, has been operating since 2015," and added, "Through this program involving multicultural and Korean families together, it will be an opportunity to foster interest in reading and understand each other's cultures."
