[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The East Asia International Education Center of the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 17th that it will hold the '2022 East Asia International Film Festival' once every Saturday in the education hall until August.
The film festival, held under the theme 'Feel East Asian SpiriT,' first screened the Chinese film 'My Red Whale' on the 14th.
Following that, the Japanese film 'Little Forest: Four Seasons' will be shown on June 11, the Indian film 'Dangal' on July 23, and the Thai film 'Teacher's Diary' on August 13, respectively.
Before each film screening, exhibitions and cultural experience booths related to each country will be operated, allowing visitors to experience the diverse cultures of East Asian countries.
The previously held Chinese film festival, supported by the Chinese Cultural Center in Korea, also featured exhibitions of traditional Chinese artworks, traditional costume and game experiences, and tasting of Chinese snacks.
Attendance at the film festival is limited to the first 100 people per session, and applications can be made through the reservation link announced on the East Asia International Education Center's website.
