NongHyup Distribution Leads Farm Work Assistance During Busy Farming Season, Including Seedling Tray Transport

Visiting Jogeum-ri Village in Dangjin-si, Chungnam, Sisterhood Village, Working Hard to Help Farmers

On the 17th, more than 20 executives and employees of Nonghyup Distribution gathered in Jogeum-ri village, Dangjin-si, Chungnam, to assist with busy farming tasks such as carrying seedling trays and harvesting garlic scapes.

Nonghyup Distribution, which operates Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, a specialty agricultural and food store, announced on the 17th that more than 20 executives and employees visited Jogeum-ri Village in Dangjin-si, Chungnam, where there is a shortage of labor during the busy spring farming season, to take the lead in helping with the labor shortage.

Celebrating its 27th anniversary this year, Nonghyup Distribution visited Jogeum-ri Village in Dangjin-si, with which it has a sisterhood relationship, to support the rural village facing labor shortages during the busy spring farming season. They worked hard helping farmers with tasks such as carrying seedling trays and harvesting garlic scapes.

Nonghyup Distribution stated, "We assisted four farms in Jogeum-ri Village and plan to continue helping with rural labor to take the lead in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management that promotes co-growth with agriculture, rural communities, and local society."
