[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group (CEO Jung Il-moon), announced on the 17th that it held a recruitment briefing session with the CEO.

The recruitment briefing session, held the previous afternoon at Korea Investment & Securities' Yeouido headquarters, was attended by about 200 university students who had pre-registered. CEO Jung Il-moon, who has been leading Korea Investment & Securities for four years as a president who started as a regular employee, also attended the session and had an honest conversation with the students.
In his lecture, CEO Jung said, "I want to build a company that dreams the grandest dreams in our country and realizes them together with talented individuals who can practice the right thoughts and right actions toward customers."
During the Q&A session, when asked about the essence of the securities industry and securities company employees, he replied, "Every amount of money in the world has a story behind it. The securities industry and its employees breathe vitality into the capital market and infuse happy stories and dreams into customers' assets." Regarding the reason for maintaining various recruitment processes including open recruitment, he said, "Just as steel becomes stronger when alloyed, new and excellent results come out only when diverse people with different majors and backgrounds gather," adding, "We will continue to maintain various types of recruitment methods."
Meanwhile, the briefing session also included job consultations with senior employees in the field. Seniors currently working in various departments of Korea Investment & Securities, such as the Personal Customer Group, IB Group, and Research Headquarters, met with job seekers in each division and shared vivid tips related to employment and job duties.
Korea Investment & Securities is accepting document submissions from applicants for the domestic university internship linked to recruitment until the 18th. Additionally, document screening for discharged officers will be conducted until the 23rd.
