[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Woo-seok] A man in his 40s, the owner of a motorcycle shop in Incheon, was stabbed multiple times with a weapon and killed, prompting the police to launch an investigation.

On the 16th, the Bupyeong Police Station in Incheon reported that at around 2 a.m. that day, they received a 112 emergency call reporting that the shop owner, Mr. A, was found bleeding and collapsed at a motorcycle shop in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.

Mr. A had multiple stab wounds on his neck and abdomen, and a weapon believed to have been used in the crime was found at the scene.

Mr. A was in cardiac arrest and received emergency treatment including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) from the 119 paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital, but he died.

The police identified suspect Mr. B on suspicion of murder based on the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the crime scene and are currently pursuing him. They also plan to request an autopsy of Mr. A’s body from the National Forensic Service.

Meanwhile, a post presumed to have been written by Mr. B was uploaded on a motorcycle-related internet community on the same day. The post stated, "Four years ago, I was defrauded of hundreds of millions of won at the shop operated by Mr. A," and added, "I couldn’t live like this anymore, so I’m going for revenge and to make an extreme choice."
