[Asia Economy Culture Young Intern Reporter] Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party candidate running in the Incheon Gyeyang-eul by-election, raised his voice on the 16th targeting Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party, saying, "If our party leader had received sexual bribery, the party would have been disbanded."

On the evening of the same day, during a walking campaign with Song Young-gil, the Seoul mayoral candidate, in the Mapo-gu area of Seoul, Lee criticized, "It is natural for the public to criticize and condemn the Democratic Party, but it is not something the People Power Party should say."

Lee emphasized that "we decisively expel and apologize when problems arise from sexual remarks or physical contact," highlighting the unanimous expulsion of lawmaker Park Wan-joo at the party meeting that day.

Lee strongly criticized the People Power Party. He said, "A party that took bribes and received political funds through car gangs," "a force that exited history due to state power manipulation," and called it "the party of shamelessness combining arrogance and impudence."

He continued, "In the last presidential election, we stayed silent to avoid negativity, but it seems someone was treated like a punching bag," adding, "Now, we will no longer stay silent. We will not be victimized."

Earlier that day, in an SBS interview, Lee also targeted Lee Jun-seok, saying, "There are recordings that he received sexual bribery and then destroyed evidence, but I don't know the truth..."

Lee and Song pledged victory in the metropolitan area in the local elections while drinking beer with dried pollack and chicken as side dishes at a pub near the entrance of Yeonnam-dong.

Meanwhile, Song targeted Oh Se-hoon, the People Power Party candidate challenging for a fourth term as Seoul mayor. He said, "New ideas are needed," and added, "We should stop the Sebitseom Floating Islands and the Hangang Renaissance projects."

He also promised, "I will make Seoul the New York of Asia and solve the real estate problem," saying, "We will create a ladder of hope for young people and ordinary citizens to own their homes by cutting taxes, expanding supply, and supporting finance."

He concluded, "I will be a mayor who boldly conveys the will of Seoul citizens even in front of the president, not a mayor who sings 'Yun Praise' even when the property rights of Seoul citizens are violated."
