Plum harvesting has begun this year in Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] The plum harvest has begun this year in Gimcheon-si, Gyeongbuk.

The first plums harvested on the 12th were grown in a facility greenhouse owned by Kim Hae-sul in Seobu-ri, Gaeryeong-myeon.

Mr. Kim started heating from January 10th, harvesting about 40 days earlier than open fields, and ships the plums to department stores, large supermarkets, and wholesale markets.

In Gimcheon-si, besides Mr. Kim Hae-sul's farm, 15 farms cultivate plums in facilities over 6.52 hectares.
