[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Gyeongnam Provincial Election Commission implemented a service to find early voting stations for the nationwide simultaneous local elections on the 16th.

Information on early voting stations is provided to facilitate voting for voters participating in early voting, which will be held over two days from the 27th to the 28th.

Voters can find the early voting station closest to their location through the National Election Commission website or by searching on portal sites.

When searching for early voting stations on the National Election Commission website, voters can check the early voting status by time slot at the corresponding early voting stations during the 20th presidential election to help select their voting time.

If the early voting station is not on the first floor or lacks convenience facilities such as elevators, temporary voting booths for mobility-impaired individuals such as the elderly, disabled, and pregnant women are also indicated as being installed on the first floor.

The Gyeongnam Election Commission stated that to improve voters' accessibility to polling stations, 297 out of the total 305 early voting stations installed in Gyeongnam are located on the first floor or in places with elevators.

Most early voting stations remain the same as in the 20th presidential election, but 12 stations were inevitably changed due to ▲improvements in voting facilities or accessibility ▲relocation of existing buildings ▲other reasons.

For electoral districts where early voting stations have changed, the new locations will be announced through banners and signboards at the entrances of early voting stations and by deploying guides during the early voting period.
